We continue to invest in our sustainability - with success

Four months into the new year we have already made great progess when it comes to sustainability:

We have reduced our CO2 emissions by 70.7%. A very good result that we would like to continue working on.

Our various projects, targeting a reduction of energy consumption as well as our sustainability concepts are already showing success, above all through our use of sustainable energies and a reduction in energy consumption, e.g. by switching to LEDs and by investing in new machine units that consume less electricity. That is how MAWA is investing extensively in creating an overall sustainable production process.

Furthermore, as already reported several times, the amount of waste in our production are constantly monitored and reduced as much as possible through appropriate measures. That way we aim to reduce the waste of resources to a minimum.

How are we doing that? We are recycling 100 percent of all waste:

• In the entire production process, all residual materials are separated and recycled accordingly.
• For example, coated metal brackets that have not passed our strict quality control are removed.
• The metal bracket is re-dipped and the removed coating is fed back into the circulatory process.

We are far from finished

Our goal: to achieve a CO2-neutral production in order to reserve nature for future generations. We will continue to keep you up to date and report on our next steps and successes.
