We see and understand MAWA ECO materials as a synonym for a closed cycle. This cycle includes the careful use of resources, CO2 neutrality, the longevity of products, recycling of materials and ultimately the preservation of our earth.

The MAWA ECO Collection thus stands for a revolutionary clothes hanger cycle that fuses the values of recycling, CO2 balance, biogenicity, quality, experience and individuality.

Sustainability drives us

We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and society in every single step of production and are fully committed to sustainable production. Therefore, our other materials used, wood and metal, are also used in the spirit of sustainability. Our MAWA metal coat hangers contain no heavy metals and are free of phthalate plasticisers. Our MAWA wooden hangers are also made exclusively from sustainable, controlled forestry cultivation and are FSC certified.

Sustainability drives us, a kind of motor that will continue to drive us forward in the years to come. This driving force is also represented by the MAWA C-Cycle - a new hanger in the MAWA ECO collection:

The MAWA C-Cycle: We kiss the world

The bio-material MAWA C-Cycle is one of our highlights of the MAWA ECO Collection. MAWA C-Cycle uses renewable raw materials (natural fibres and biopolymers) that form a closed CO2 cycle.

When they are recycled, they only release as much CO2 as they absorb during their growth phase. The aim is to leave fossil CO2 in the soil. Natural fibres and biopolymers from plant residues from primary recycling are used, which are no longer relevant for food and feed.

The MAWA C-Cycle is characterised by high quality and stability. It is processed as granulate in the injection moulding process with different colours.
