MAWA supplies clothes hangers to over 70 countries and offers customers all over the world the ideal hanger for their requirements.
From Pfaffenhofen / ILM in Bavaria, tens of thousands of clothes hangers go out into the world every day via the port of Hamburg. We only ship containers with hangers, whether to Asia, the USA or South America. Our customers are wholesalers in the consumer market, the fashion industry and hotels. Made in Germany since 1948 and the expertise for optimal clothing hanging is the secret recipe for this success.

Cultural differences worldwide - no problem for MAWA
MAWA also adapts to the cultural differences in clothing, the fields of application and the taste of the target group. There are solutions for the kilt, the sari as well as for diving suits, fire service clothing or church robes. Color also plays a big role depending on the culture.
The new collection in Japan, with the name Miyabi, based on the first name of the Japanese empress, is an attraction with its coating in glittery pink and a chrome hook. So far, the German customer, on the other hand, is more traditionally focused on black or white metal hangers and also prefers a natural wood hanger.
American customers, on the other hand, are braver. They prefer red metal hangers for their dressing room. The latest trend is mixing metal hangers and wooden hangers in the closet. Since all brackets at MAWA are coordinated, everything hangs at the same height despite the variety of materials.
